Our Campaign Manager allows you to launch, manage, and report on real-time experiences to Made With Intent segments.

We allow you to build both experiences, and experiments, within campaigns.

Experiences fire to all visitors who match the segment, and targeting rules set-up within the campaign. There is no control, however we do have a Holdback Group.

Experiments fire to all visitors who match the segment, and targeting rules. Visitors are split into the variant, and control. The control group of visitors will see no change to the website. This is to allow you to understand the impact experiences have on key e-commerce, and Intent metrics. The traffic split of the variant and control can be chosen within the campaign set-up.

A Campaign can house multiple experiences, or multiple variations within an experiment. The reason we run these as campaigns is so you can run multiple experiences, or experiments, in parallel without risk of conflict.

Can a visitor see multiple campaigns?

By default, a visitor can be bucketed into multiple campaigns, if they match the criteria of them all. However, they will only see one campaign per page, based on the first match. This can be over-ridden within campaign set-up if you would like a visitor to be fired two campaigns on the same page.

Can a visitor see multiple experiences, within the same campaign?

No. A visitor will only see one experience from the same campaign. This is determined by the first experience they match. If they match multiple experiences at the same time, the experience they see will be chosen at random.

How are visitors bucketed into campaigns?

Visitors are bucketed into the experiment in two steps. Firstly, the Global Rules determine which visitors will be bucketed into the campaign. This may be to only target visitors on the homepage. Secondly, the experience / experiment has its own audience targeting rules, utilising real-time segments to determine which visitors will see the experience. For example; Abandoning Visitors

Holdback Groups

It's important to note that, by default, all campaigns have a global holdback group of 10% of visitors. Meaning that 10% of all visitors will never receive a Made With Intent campaign. The holdback group exists to allow you to confidently report on the success of your Made With Intent real-time campaigns.
