Today we're excited to launch our new and improved Custom Segment Builder.
Improved User Experience
We have improved the overall user experience of the segment builder, moving to a drag and drop editor that enables you to more easily see all the possible conditions able to be added into your segment
As part of this, conditions have been split into Intent Metrics, which contain all of the Intent related conditions (such as Intent to Convert, and Objective Phase), and Targeting, where you can add in additional context such as Traffic Source, or Number of Items in Cart. A list of all conditions can be found here
You are able to see the Rules Summary at the bottom of the builder to see all your conditions in one place
Additional Conditions
You are now able to now build a segment using the Behavioural State condition, based on feedback we received from customers.
Focus; these users are moving positively through the phase, and likely to move into the next.
Struggle; these users are struggling to move forward in their phase, and need support.
Abandon; these users look to be abandoning the site in the current phase they’re in.
Audience Improvements
Our Estimated Audience metrics have also been updated, now including;
Conversion Rate - estimated conversion rate of all segment users, after they have been bucketed into the segment
Add to Bag Rate - estimated add to bag rate of all segment users, after they have been bucketed into the segmentAbandon; these users look to be abandoning the site in the current phase they’re in.
Additionally, as you build your segment you are now able to see Drop-Off Rates, for each Objective Phase of the Intent Performance Score
The drop-off rate tells you, of visitors in the segment who reached that phase, what % of them left in that phase
