For both custom and templated segments, you are able to explore them in more detail through our Segment reporting feature.
To access a segments report, click the segment card, and then click ‘Segment Reporting’
Segment Volume
Within segment volume you can look at a 7-on-7 and 30-on-30 day comparisons of segment volume in order to gain insights on your website performance over time.
To change the date range you are looking at, click the date selector in the top right, and choose your comparison period and the specific date ranges.
Not seeing all or any comparison periods? This is likely because your segment has not yet been live long enough. Custom segments will begin populating from the day they are created
Segment Breakdowns
Segment breakdowns allow you to explore your segments in a more detail breakdown to understand which cohorts over and under index in terms of volume.
You are able to breakdown your segment by;
Marketing Type
Referrer Type
UTM Medium
UTM Source
Landing Page Type
Device Type
Product Category
Page Type
Within these breakdowns you can then see the average events, page views, and time on site before a user matches the segment.
