Pre-built templates are the fastest way to build an experience in Made With Intent. Choose a template, customise it using preset variables, and it’s ready to go - no code required.
Templates are available in both Agentic and Custom campaigns.
How to use a pre-built template
First, set up your campaign based on whether you are building a Standard, Dynamic or Sequenced campaign.
Agentic and Custom Campaigns
When it comes to adding content for experiences you will have two options:
'Add Content', where you can select between our prebuilt experience templates. There is also the option to create a custom template, using HTML, CSS and JS, and also use third party triggers.
‘Launch Visual Editor’, where you can make in-page site changes, add new templates from our library, and preview them in-situ on your site.
Using the Visual Editor
Within the Visual Editor, you can:
Edit existing elements - adjust the position, content, styling, and behaviour of elements within your template
Hide elements - soft-hide anything you don't want on the page; you can restore it at any time from the changes panel
Add new widgets - drop in countdowns, promo banners, overlays, sticky banners, tooltips, and form layouts independently of the template
Toggle between desktop and mobile - preview how the experience adapts to device type.
For more information on the Visual Editor, see our dedicated article here.
Sequenced Campaigns
When it comes to creating each experience, select your segment and then choose 'Add Content' to pick from our pre-built template library, or create a custom template using HTML, CSS and JS.
Note: the Visual Editor is not available for Sequenced Campaigns. Customisation options and saving work the same way as described above.
Dynamic Campaigns
For a dynamic campaign, the first step is to build your Master Template. This will be your default campaign template to define dynamic content rules against. Click 'Choose Template', and then 'Experience Templates'.
From here you can select the Master Template for your campaign and customise within the Intent platform. The Visual Editor is not available for dynamic campaigns.
Position; where the experience sits on your page
Content; any text, icons, or links within the experience
Size; the size of the experience
Styling; the colour, font, and size of different elements within the experience
Behaviour; any specific behaviour for the experience
Once this is completed, then click 'Save'. You are then able to add your dynamic content variants for each segment within the experience. Follow the instructions for Dynamic Campaigns for more information on this.
